When many people think of Nevada, what do they think of? Casinos and gambling maybe, or five star hotels and shows going on all the time. Or maybe if they are thinking outside the cities they might be thinking motor cross.

But what many people don’t think of is the many car shows going in Nevada. Many have heard of the big shows such as Hot August Nights, but what they don’t know is Nevada also host to many other slightly less known car shows that are still worth the trip.

Back To The Fifties

The majority of the car shows feature primarily classic cars. Cars from the 50’s to 70’s. With these classic car shows you will usually find a general atmosphere of the 50’s. Plenty of fifties garb, fifties music and a lot people coming back to revisit the good old days.

It is not uncommon for some shows to have over a 1000 cars in the shows to small of the smaller shows with around a 100. They feature such activities as show and shines, usually for cash prizes, parades and auctions.

Family Events

Normally these events are meant for the whole family, so they aren’t limited to just things involving cars. Activities for the kids and a plenty of food are also common features of these car shows.

The majority of the shows feature classic cars, but it is also not uncommon to see shows that feature custom motorcycles or just about any other vehicle you can think of.
